In old days people used to keep personal diaries to manage themselves. Today, Google calendar along with mobile synchronization has replaced the old traditional diaries. The difference is the push technology which can notify user rather than user opening his diary daily and checking informations. Google calendar has really emerged as the best organizing tool.

Google calendar replaced your diaries but there was still something missing. Isn’t it?  What if the your client himself can come, see the empty times in your diary and fill their information. Wouldn’t it be great?

Yes, Appointy does the same. Appointy is now linked to Google Apps and it will extend your Google calendar further to take Appointments from your clients. Your clients will take appointment on Appointy and Appointy will update your Google calendar in real-time. Similary, any personal event you will book on Google calendar will be marked as Blocked on Appointy.  Each staff on Appointy can link their Google calendar with their respective accounts.

Please follow the steps to link Appointy with your Google Apps account.

2. Click on Add it now an enter your Google App domain. e.g. xtremeheights.com

3. Follow the steps to complete your linking.

4. Once installed in Google Apps account, you will find a link in your Google Apps Email from where you can directly login into Appointy.

The value of personal Calendar just went up.

We are excited to announce the launch of Appointy’s mobile version. Now, when your client would open your scheduling page from their mobile then they will automatically see Appointy’s mobile version.

Appointy mobile version is in beta. We apologize for any bugs or unsupported browsers. We are working on it and soon you will see it working on all mobile browsers. We have not tested it on all mobile browsers but its works on Android, Iphone & Nokia.

Over the last year, we have found that most of the Business registrations are coming from websites which are already using Appointy. Hola, I am Gabriela Lechin. This is my first post and I am thrilled to present my thoughts.

Today we have released the new and latest version of the Appointy’s website. We designed about 3 previous concepts but were not satisfied until our fourth try, which you will be able to find online today.  Appointy is an easy but far from simple appointment mgmt. system. It is much, much more than what meets the eye, so we needed to design it in such a way that it would be understandable to all.  

The Challenge:

1. Our main and most difficult challenge was designing the homepage. Appointy has lots of concepts and features grouped into one entity. In its simplest form, Appointy is an appointment mgmt. system capable to grow your business exponentially, by spreading your word-of-mouth publicity. It is also a search engine, where visitors can search and book appointments in their area instantly. And ultimately, Appointy’s viral marketing tools, which are the key to your business marketing success.

2. Appointy’s iconic image, which can be used to describe various Appointy features and concepts; friendly with great style, but at the same time versatile and easy to work with.

3. Combining vector, PSD and HTML image files, making them work together as one.

Solution:

1. After many discussions with the Appointy team we created the main page, which describes that Appointy is an appointment mgmt. system with the use of calendar image on top and the text explains how it will help you grow your business exponentially.

2. We added the yellow buddy (or as we call it in-house, the “yellow dude”), which will be used as an icon for Appointy.  We created various drafts to link this icon with the concept. I hope it will help you understand a little better about Appointy.

3. We think that Appointy is an innovative but classic concept, which integrates a lot more than what the eye can see. We wanted to bring this concept to the design process and give this look the header. So we used the Appointy corporate colors purple with image and vector elements hanging around and outside the banner, giving it a classic touch with the feel or being bigger than the standard mold. You can also see air blowing behind the calendar. With this we wanted to represent our concept of constant development and moving forward. Nothing stays still in Appointy, we are always moving forward.

Visitor’s first impression:

We showed the first look to our existing clients and the feedback was “WOW”. This is what everybody likes to hear after so much of hard work and so many late, late nights behind the computer.

Khushal Patel (CTO): He is the chief architect and is the man behind the technology you use to schedule appointments. He never says no to anything. So if you have any feature which you want to see in Appointy then you can sure that this guy will do it for you. His articles would explain you the technology and solutions we did to develop Appointy.

Rajesh(Javascript Ninja): He is surely a Ninja. Superfast coder and one of the best JavaScript programmer in the world. He bought the feel good factor which your customers must have experienced in booking an appointment with you. He is uninsurable. He would be posting JavaScript and CSS hacks to make it work in all browsers.

Puneet(Sr. Software Developer): Cute boy who is responsible for securing your database. He loves Ferrari and he is definitely going to buy it. His posts would mainly focus on database and .NET programming.

Nitin(Software Developer): He is responsible for documenting everything. When he is not in office he is with his guitar singing “waiting for dawn”

Lokesh(Software Developer): He is responsible for testing everything. He joined us for his interns and then never left us. Cool and stylish guy. Always wears black goggles.

Nirmal (Software Developer): Very serious person who likes to learn and share his ideas. He is a great chess player and challenge him if you wish.

Sudhir (Software Developer): He is the tallest of us all. He has just joined us and he loves the environment of the company.
